If none of the above solutions apply or have not worked, please try disabling any software that could interfere or add additional resource needs for the game, as this can be a common cause for this issue. This includes, for example:
- Screen recording software
- Post-processing software
- Performance monitoring software
- Overlays associated to platforms
- On Epic, go to Settings -> Preferences and disable the In-Game Overlay toggle
- On Steam, Select Steam in the Top Left corner, Then Settings -> In game -> 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game' toggle
